From our farm to your door

Where we deliver

We offer a farm to door delivery service to Atherton, Mareeba and Cairns on the first Saturday of each month. If you reside outside our delivery area, you can still collect our tasty grass-fed beef boxes or curated dog food from our market stall at Mareeba Markets.

Delivery times

At Farm to Paws, we understand that your time is valuable. Once you place your order, it will be added to our dispatch queue for delivery on your chosen date.

For Farm to Door orders, our team will contact you via text on the delivery date to inform you of our arrival time and provide a live tracking link for our delivery vehicle.

For Market Collection, you can pick up your order from your selected market between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.

Packaging

Our Farm to Paws dog food is conveniently packaged in 500-gram reusable freezer tubs, making storage easy for you. For kennels and pet hotels wanting to provide the best for their furry guests, we also offer 2-kilogram vacuum-sealed bags.

Please let us know in the notes when you place your order if you would prefer the 2-kilogram packaging.

Storage

Our products are stored in a dedicated freezer area on our farm. We follow safe food practices, ensuring that all produce is kept at temperatures below -18 degrees Celsius. Furthermore, our freezer storage is equipped with a backup power system to protect the products in the event of a power failure.

Transport

We transport our produce in a custom-built freezer utility vehicle. This vehicle is equipped with active refrigeration units to ensure that your produce is maintained within safe temperature limits during transport. Additionally, temperatures are monitored using wireless temperature control units inside the vehicle.

Delivery Support

When things don’t go according to plan, that’s okay. Sometimes our customers need to change their plans at the last minute, and we understand. We are always ready to work with you to find a solution. If you need to delay, reschedule, or meet us on the way, we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Just give us a call, and we can make on-the-spot changes to suit you.

Hygiene and Handling Tips

Good hygiene practice is essential when handling, preparing and storing food for us and for our fury companions. Here are our top tips to get you started:

Keep your food nice and frozen until you’re ready to use it! When it’s time to defrost, simply place it in a container and store it at the bottom of the fridge.

Once it’s all thawed out, take just the amount you need to avoid waste. Before serving it to your furry friends, give the food a quick temperature check to ensure it’s perfect for them.

After their meal, don’t forget to wash their bowls with some hot, soapy water so they’re ready for their next feast. And if there’s any uneaten food left over, kindly toss it out when they’re finished. Enjoy mealtime with your pups!
